Julian Paul Rohrbaugh, 84 of Bryan, OH passed away on Saturday, July 01, 2006 at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan.

Julian was a US Navy veteran having served during WWII in the Pacific Theatre and being involved with the Philippine Liberation. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing and gardening. Mr. Rohrbaugh was retired from Dana Corporation of Antwerp after 21 years of service.

Born on September 27, 1921 in Napoleon, OH, he was the son of Julius and Leah (Bickford) Rohrbaugh. Julian married Jeanelle Sturdavant on April 9, 1950, and she survives. Together they had two children, Susan (Andrew) Barry of Fremont, IN and James (Cindy) Rohrbaugh of Bryan. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Jared and Jonathan Gilbert and Andrea Barry, a brother, Milford (Joyce) Rohrbaugh of Napoleon and three sisters, Irene (Burton) Wenner of Napoleon, Bernice Ruffer of Stryker, OH and Phyllis (Kenneth) Creager of Thomasville, GA.

Julian was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services for Julian Rohrbaugh will be on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at 11:00am at Oberlin-Ford Funeral Home, Bryan, with Rev. Dwight Bowers and Pastor Dennis Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 4 from 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to either Wesley United Methodist Church or the donor's choice.
