Adam Christopher Sproles, 45 years, of Sherwood, also known as Randall Lee Sproles, died Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana after a short battle with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.Adam was born February 26, 1966 in Mansfield, Ohio to Donald W. and Shirley A. (Rachel) Sproles.He was a 1985 graduate of Fairview High School.Adam had been a customer service representative for Wal-Mart in Defiance. Prior to that, He was the former owner of Welcome Home Restaurant in Bryan.He also worked for Americare as a Marketing representative, but worked for Harborside Healthcare in Bryan as a Marketing and Admissions Director.He was a member of True Word Tabernacle in Bluffton, Ohio.He was an artist who enjoyed painting and drawing.He was involved in the theatre and made many costumes for plays. Surviving is his mother, Shirley A. Sproles of Sherwood; two brothers, Donald L. (Criss) Sproles of Ney and Tom (Sharon) Sproles of Ney; two sisters, Babette (Jeff Suffel) Swank of Edgerton and Cynthia (Daniel) Sobota of Defiance along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.He was preceded in death by his father, Donald W. Sproles, infant sister, Rebecca Jean Sproles and great nephew, Caleb Collins. Funeral services for Adam Sproles will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2011 in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan with Pastor Ray Erickson officiating.Interment will follow in Ney Cemetery.Visitation for Adam will be held Sunday, March 27, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Monday, March 28, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial tributes in the name of Adam Christopher Sproles may be given to the family or the American Cancer Society.
