Amber L. McCullough, 39, of Hicksville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 7, 2023, in her residence.  Amber was born October 4, 1983, in Lima, Ohio, daughter of Ronald Maxwell and Nancy Cass.  She was a 2002 graduate of Continental High School.  She married Jesus Orona in November 2009, and he preceded her in death.  Amber then married Ryan McCullough in January 2022, and he survives.  Amber most recently worked at Matsu in Edgerton, Ohio, and prior to that as an STNA.  In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her children.

Amber is survived by her four children, Hannah (Draymn) Grams of Van Wert, Ohio, Clinton VanScoder of Holgate, Ohio, Zachery VanScoder of Van Wert, and Elijah Harter of Continental, Ohio; one grandson, Draymn Grams, Jr.; mother, Nancy Cass of Continental; father, Ronald Maxwell of Ararat, Virginia; two brothers, Matthew (Desirae) Maxwell of Leesville, Louisiana, and Jonathan Maxwell of Continental; one half-brother, David Maxwell of Wooster, Ohio; grandmother, Alvera Cass of Defiance, Ohio; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  Amber was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Orona; and three grandparents, Edward Cass, Okey Maxwell and Zella Maxwell.

Per the family's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services held at this time.  Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home & Crematory, 706 Main Street, Hicksville, Ohio 43526.
