Cheryl Diane Rinebolt, 54 years, of Hicksville, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Community Memorial Hospital, Hicksville. Cheryl was born June 6, 1968, in Paulding, Ohio, the daughter of Ronald E. "Luke" and Shirley M. (Canter) McCain. She attended Paulding High School. Cheryl enjoyed fishing, compiling family history, and scrapbooking. Cheryl loved animals, especially dogs. She enjoyed being outdoors.

Surviving are her parents, Luke (Linda) McCain of Paulding, Ohio and Shirley McCain of Hicksville, Ohio; two children, Zach (Tassie) Rinebolt of Comanche, Oklahoma, and Kirsten Rinebolt of Hicksville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Skyla and Coen Berry; two brothers, Rob McCain of Hicksville, Ohio, and Brian Tope of Paulding, Ohio; one niece, Courtney Graber of Hicksville, Ohio; one nephew, John McCain of Hicksville, Ohio; four great-nieces, Braelynn, Bristol, Brexley McCain and Mila Graber.  She was preceded in death by her infant son, Toby.

To honor Cheryl's wishes, there will not be any visitation or services at this time. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Hicksville.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to be directed to the family to offset funeral expenses.  Please send your contributions to the attention of Rob McCain.
