Clinton S. "Scott" McNeal, 71, of Montpelier, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026, at Evergreen Healthcare Center, Montpelier, Ohio.  Scott was born August 29, 1954, in Newport News, Virginia, son of the late Clinton W. "Mac" and Beverly J. "Jean" (Beatty) McNeal.  He was a 1972 graduate of Hilltop High School.  Scott worked maintenance at Robinair Manufacturing Corp. until the factory closed in 2002, dedicating over 30 years of service to the company.  He was a member of the Sons of The American Legion Jr. Wyse Post 669 in West Unity.  In his younger years, Scott played a lot of softball and tennis.  Later on he became an avid golfer and participated in many local golf leagues.  One of his favorite hobbies was being in his pool whenever he had the opportunity.

Surviving are his three children, Kevin (Dede) McNeal of Southgate, Kentucky, Brock (Nickie) McNeal of West Unity, Ohio, and Kelsey (Devin) Shaffer of Lambertville, Michigan; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; girlfriend, Candi Devlaminck of Montpelier; and one brother, Jay (Shannon) McNeal of Bryan, Ohio.  Scott was preceded in death by his parents; and by his sister, Melanie J. McNeal.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Floral Grove Cemetery, West Unity, Ohio, with Pastor Kevin Doseck officiating.  Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan, Ohio 43506.
