Connie J. Zimmerman, age 74, of Stryker, Ohio, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Brookview Care Center in Defiance, Ohio. Connie was born February 3, 1952, in Napoleon, Ohio, to the late Wendall and Emma (Mead) Berkebile. She attended Millcreek-West Unity High School. On February 11, 1993, she married Jerry L. Zimmerman in Bryan, Ohio, and he survives. Connie worked for 20 years at Loetz Chiropractic in Bryan and previously worked at Beam Stream in Montpelier. She was known for her compassion and care for others. Connie loved her family and friends and enjoyed going out to eat and going to the movies.

Surviving are her husband, Jerry Zimmerman of Stryker; daughter, Kristina Nickels of Bryan; three granddaughters, Kylee (Justin) Brown of Bryan, Kayce (Scott McCague) Miller of West Unity, and Alexis Mojica of Bryan; two great-grandchildren, Kourtney and Kaylee Miller; two sisters, Donna (Roger) Pannell and Emily (Nate) Bond; and a brother, Randy (Irene) Berkebile. She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Michael Nickels and Kelly Nickels; a sister, Jackie Day; and four brothers, Ray, Daniel, Clyde and Richard Berkebile.

To honor Connie's wishes there will be no visitation or services held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, West Unity.
