Daniel A. Brown, 65, of Hamilton, passed away at his home on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Born May 28, 1961, in Leo, Indiana, Dan was the son of the late Daniel L. and Alleen (Mann) Brown. He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1980. On August 18, 1979, he married Chrisandra Howe in Hamilton, and she survives. Dan dedicated 47 years to Tri-Wall Containers in Butler, where he worked in maintenance until retiring in August 2026. A natural tinkerer, he found satisfaction in fixing anything he could, from household projects to cars. He took pride in caring for and improving his home and also enjoyed recreational shooting.

Dan is survived by his wife, Chrisandra of Hamilton; five sons, Aaron Brown of Hamilton, Chad (Whitney) Brown of Milford, Nebraska, Michael Brown of Hamilton, Nathan Brown of Angola, and Brandon (Reegan) Brown of Hamilton; five grandchildren, Extyn, Krue, LillieAnn, Amber, and Octavia Brown; and two siblings, Jean (Jerry) Matrau of Angola and Jim (Andrew) Brown of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Janet Smith.

In accordance with Daniel’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Hamilton, Indiana.
