Deidre L. Richards, 56, of Hicksville, Ohio passed away Friday, April 15, 2022. Deidre was born February 13, 1966, in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine (Schmitt) Stepleton. She was a 1984 graduate of Ottoville High School. Deidre had a heart for others and worked as a Nurses Aide at Hickory Creek Nursing Home for years. She was always giving to her family and friends and lived a life to serve others. In her free time, Deidre enjoying listening to Rock and Roll music, especially Styx, reading, and watching her favorite television shows. Above all, Deidre cherished spending time with her family and would do anything for them.

Surviving are three children, Ashley Ruhlen of Antwerp, Ohio, Suzanne Arnett of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, and Ricky Richards of Hicksville, Ohio; six grandchildren, Dylan, Brianna, Mya, Celsie, Dawson, and Ayden.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville.

Memorial contributions can be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
