Diana Marie Hartman, 79 years, of Hicksville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana, after a short battle with cancer. Diana was born April 5, 1944, in Hicksville, Ohio, the daughter of Evelyn Amaden. She was a 1962 graduate of Hicksville High School. Diana married Larry G. Hartman on June 15, 1963, and he preceded her in death on February 22, 2023. Diana worked as a teller at Lincoln Life for two years, and then transitioned to being a full-time homemaker and mother – something she loved. Diana was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, where she was active in the Altar & Rosary Society. Diana enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren, and tending to her beautiful roses and hibiscus.
Diana is survived by her three sons, Eric (LaChelle) Hartman of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Rick Hartman of Winchester, Indiana, and Jeff (special friend – Leann Fitzwater) Hartman of Hicksville; daughter, Shelley (Eric) Clark of Hicksville; nine grandchildren, Justin Hartman, Travis (Kelsey) Hartman, Tyler (Kayla) Hartman, Nicole (Brandon) Eicher, Tanner (Rebecca) Hartman, Jacob (Shelby Tucker) Hartman, Sophie Clark, Ella Clark, and Olivia Clark; and seven great-grandchildren, Eli, Alivia, Lincoln, Landon, Emersyn, Luka, and Hudson. Diana was preceded in death by her mother; and her loving husband of 60 years, Larry G. Hartman.
Visitation for Diana Marie Hartman will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 Noon at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville, Ohio 43526. Funeral services for Diana will immediately follow in the funeral home beginning at 12:00 Noon with Deacon Rod Conkle officiating. Interment will follow in Six Corners Cemetery, Hicksville.
Memorial contributions be made to the St. Michael Catholic Church - Altar & Rosary Society, Parkview Hospice, or to the Hicksville Athletic Boosters.
