Earl G. Sinn, age 88, of Hicksville, died Tuesday August 10, 2010 at the Community Memorial Hospital, Hicksville.

Earl was born December 27, 1921 to the late Glen and Carrie (Stotz) Sinn at Hicksville, Ohio. He was united in marriage to Maxine Pearson in October of 1950.

He was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Pacific Theater during WWII.

Earl was a lifelong farmer, a member of the Farmer United Methodist Church,
a member and Past Commander of the Farmer American Legion Post #137 and served on the board of directors at the Hicksville Grain Company.

Earl is survived by a daughter, Joyce (Paul) Combs of Defiance, a son Steve Sinn of Hicksville, two granddaughters Erica and Keri Koeller and a sister Margaret Baur of Ft. Wayne, IN.

He was preceded in death by his wife and a son Larry.

The funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 at Smith & Brown Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00-8:00 and also one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be at Six Corners Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Farmer American Legion Post #137.
