Elizabeth "Liz" Vogelsong, 86, of Hicksville, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.  Liz was born July 24, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Nishan and Mania (Simonian) Chobanian.  She graduated from Steinmetz High School in Chicago.  Liz married her sweetheart William P. "Bill" Vogelsong on August 2, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois, and he preceded her in death on September 10, 2013.  Liz loved being a homemaker, her greatest earthly treasures were her family.

Liz is survived by her three children, Michelle Vogelsong of Hicksville, Jeffrey (Linda) Vogelsong of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Trina Vogelsong of Hicksville.  Liz was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 55 years, Bill; and her three siblings and their spouses, Rose (Martin) Venema, Albert (Joyce) Chobanian, and George (Joan) Chobanian.

There will be no visitation or services held at this time, but the family is planning a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home & Crematory, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville, Ohio 43526.
