Erma L. Burch, age 102, of Hamilton, formerly of Edon, Ohio, passed away Monday, April 6, 2009 at Betz Nursing Home, Auburn, Indiana. The daughter of Germ & Maude (Riley) Robinette, she was born July 29, 1906 in Steuben County.She was united in marriage to Gael C. Burch on November 24, 1926 who passed away February 6, 1983.Erma was a homemaker, and a former member of the Edon Church of Christ, and a former member of Rebecca's in Hamilton. Surviving is her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald (Roxanna) Burch of Hamilton, Indiana, one daughter:Mrs. Janice Creager also of Hamilton, Indiana, 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Esther Whitman also of Edgerton, Ohio.She was preceded in death by five brothers, Raymond, Kenneth, Alvin, Denver, and Deloy. Funeral services for Mrs. Erma L. Burch will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Oberlin-Ford Funeral Home, Hamilton, Indiana with Rev. Donna Holcomb officiating.Interment will follow in South Scott Cemetery.Visitation for Mrs. Burch will be held Wednesday, April8, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to the Steuben County Heart Association or Donor's Choice.
