Gregory "Chuckie" Headley, 71 years of Hicksville, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024, at The Laurels of DeKalb, Butler, Indiana. Greg was born May 2, 1953, in Hicksville, Ohio, the son of the late Leo and Gwen (Limpert) Headley. He was a 1972 graduate of Hicksville High School, attending Four County Joint Vocational School. He then attended Northwest State Community College where he received his associate's degree. He was a very talented machinist, running the machine shop of H & W Automotive for nearly 50 years, retiring in 2022.  He married Christine Hilbert on June 3, 1998, at Bally's Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada, and she survives. Greg was a member of the Hicksville Masonic Lodge, Hicksville Rotary Club, Hicksville Eagles Aerie, and the Hicksville Sons of the American Legion. Greg was a member of the Wall of Fame at Northwest State Community College. Greg enjoyed drag racing, driving a dragster for several years. He also enjoyed golfing at every opportunity, walking on the beach in Florida, collecting seashells, spending time working in his yard and creating memories by spending time with friends and family.

Surviving is his wife Christine of Hicksville; son, Brandon (Alisha) Headley of Cecil, Ohio, and stepson, Shaun (Nancy) Andrews of Claremont, Florida; grandson, Harrison; two step-granddaughters,  Mallory, and Anna; three brothers, Michael (Roxanne) Headley of Hicksville, Mitchel (Marie) Headley of Hicksville and Randy (Beth) Headley of Hicksville along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Greg Headley will be held Friday, December 20, 2024, from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville. Funeral services for Greg will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2024, in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
