Winston Bodwell, 80, of Hicksville, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Vancrest of Hicksville with his family by his side. Winston was born March 22, 1941, in Hutchinson, Kansas, son of the late Horace and Edith (Kuhns) Bodwell. He was a 1958 graduate of Highland High School, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Winston continued his education studying at New Mexico Highlands University and Texas Western College. He married Wendy on November 3, 1984, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Winston was the owner and operator of Motor Sport Inc. for over 50 years. He enjoyed helping others and spending time with his wife and family. Winston was a longtime friend of Bill W.

Surviving is his wife, Wendy Bodwell of Hicksville, Ohio; three sons, Avery Bodwell of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Trevor Bodwell of Aurora, Colorado, and Eric Bodwell of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Winston was preceded in death by his parents. He "outlived his brother," David Bodwell.

To honor Winston's wishes there will be no services held. Arrangements are in care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home & Crematory, Hicksville, Ohio.
