Jane Oberlin, 64 years old of Bryan passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Park View Nursing Center, Edgerton.  Jane was born March 9,1959, in Bryan, the daughter of the late Donna Vee (Shough) and Charles Oberlin. Jane was a 1978 graduate of Bryan High School. She was a dedicated employee at Oberlin Foods, Quadco Rehabilitation Center, Essman Screw Products and TruFast and was frequently awarded for her work ethic.

Jane was an honest, kind and loving person. Truly an example of how a world of more people like her would be a much happier place! Jane loved her family and was especially fond of her many nieces and nephews.

She always remembered the birthdays and anniversaries of others, and you could be sure you would receive a card acknowledging the milestone. Not only did she remember the date of that milestone, but she could also even tell you what day of the week it would be on-at the drop of a hat!

Jane loved anything purple from her nail polish to her clothes, decorations and many craft projects. She was always there to brighten the mood with a joke to share (many times a knock, knock) She enjoyed celebrating all holidays, especially Halloween. Jane also loved classic soft rock music and any time you walked into her house it was playing, and she was singing along! Jane loved to feed her many neighborhood squirrel friends, they all had a name, usually for the snack they preferred: Peanuts, Cashews, Tortilla, Fritos, or Pizza….

Janes memory lives on through her brothers and sisters-in-law Deloy (Margie), Stan (Mary), Ean (Natalie), Neil (Bonnie), Chris (Brenda), Scott (Amy) and Marsha Oberlin. May Jane rest in peace reunited with her parents and three brothers Don, Timothy, and infant John Oberlin.

Jane was never a fan of funerals, but was always up for a celebration, especially her birthday, The family would like to celebrate Jane's life in her way, on her 65th heavenly birthday!

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Jane's life on Saturday March 9, 2024, at the Center Township Hall, 04266 County Road 12, Bryan, Ohio from 11:00 am-4:00pm complete with pizza and feel free to wear purple!

The family would like to express their gratitude for everyone that showed Jane love and kindness throughout her life.

For those that would like to contribute to a memorial in the memory of Jane, suggested recipients would be Williams County Board of Development Disabilities Bryan, Ohio or to the raised bed gardens at Park View Nursing Center Edgerton, Ohio
