June E. Cotrell, 95, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and formerly of Hicksville, Ohio, and Haines City, Florida, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022, at The Towne House Retirement Center, Fort Wayne.  She was born July 7, 1926, in Allen County, Indiana, daughter of the late Perry L. and Katherine M. (Curie) Jump.  June was a 1944 graduate of Hicksville High School.  She married Calvin J. Cotrell on August 31, 1947, and he preceded her in death on April 23, 2009.  June was a homemaker, and supported her husband in achieving his professional goals as college professor.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.  In her free time, June enjoyed traveling and being in nature, including bird watching.

June is survived by her brother-in-law, Howard (Linda) Cotrell of Bowling Green, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and beloved husband, Calvin.

Graveside Services for June E. Cotrell will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Lost Creek Cemetery, Hicksville, Ohio with Celebrant Patricia Peter officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville, Ohio.
