Keith D. Schliesser, 49, of Edgerton, Ohio, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center, Defiance, Ohio.  Keith was born January 30, 1974, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the son of David L. and Jill L. (Jacob) Schliesser.  He was a 1992 graduate of Hicksville High School.  Keith worked at Matcor-Matsu in Edgerton, and previously worked at CV Electric in Bryan, Ohio.  He enjoyed kayaking, throwing horseshoes and rooting for the Detroit Lions.  Above all, Keith loved attending his children's activities and sporting events.

Keith is survived by his two children, Sydney (Christopher Jones) Schliesser of Defiance, and Jayson Schliesser of Edgerton; his father, David Schliesser of Hicksville; his mother, Jill (Robert) Brown of Hicksville; two brothers, John (Karen) Schliesser of Lorain, Ohio, and Bret (Amy Gessner) of Hicksville; a sister, Cori (Robert) Garza of Hicksville; a niece, Grace Garza; and four nephews, Ryan Schliesser, Kyle Schliesser, Jacob Schliesser and Andrew Schliesser.

Visitation for Keith D. Schliesser will be held Monday, October 2, 2023, from 2:00 – 5:00 P.M. at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville.
