Lillian B. Emenhiser, 98, of Hicksville, Ohio, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024, at Vancrest of Hicksville. Lillian was born May 10, 1926, in Auburn, Indiana, daughter of the late Mary (Koch) and Henry Walters. She graduated from Spencerville High School. Lillian married Allen W. Emenhiser in June of 1946, and he preceded her in death on November 14, 1976. Lillian worked as a laborer at Commercial Shearing, Butler, Indiana. She then worked in the kitchen at Community Memorial Hospitals for ten years prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Hicksville First Church of Christ. In her free time, she enjoyed painting, taking care of her house and yard and just meeting friends and family to spend time with.

She is survived by her sister, Sharon Applegate of Hicksville, and by many nieces and nephews. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Allen; and by her four brothers, Max, Vance, Chalmer, and Robert.

The family has invited all who desire to attend the graveside funeral services for Lillian B. Emenhiser, which will be held Friday, September 13, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. in Scipio Cemetery, Harlan, Indiana, with Pastor Jerold Tear officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Hicksville.
