Lois M. Gump, 97, of Hicksville, Ohio, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022, at Vancrest of Hicksville.  She was born April 24, 1924, in Mark Center, Ohio, the daughter of the late Jess and Irma (Bernard) Haver.  She attended Mark Center Schools.  Lois married Robert L. Gump, and he preceded her in death on November 17, 1996. Lois was a devoted homemaker, caring for the needs of her family. In her free time, she enjoyed going to Firekeepers Casino, working crossword puzzles, and reading.

Lois is survived by her four children, Jesse Gump of Hicksville, Ohio, Ronald (Doreen) Gump of Huntertown, Indiana, Dennis (Janet) Gump of Hicksville, Ohio, and Janice Fitzwater of Defiance, Ohio; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; five siblings and several nieces and nephews. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert L. Gump; one son, Robert A. Gump and six siblings.

To honor Lois' wishes, no visitation or services will be held at this time. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville, Ohio 43526.
