Margery "Ann" Cook, 88 years of Hicksville, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025, at Vancrest of Hicksville. Ann was born November 10, 1936, in Hicksville, the daughter of the late Garold and Grace (Curie) Cook. She was a 1954 graduate of Hicksville High School. Ann worked in the Office of Sheller Globe in Grabill, as an accountant for many years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Hicksville, and the Piecemakers Quilting Group. She was also a 65-year member of the Hicksville Chapter of the Order of Eastern Stars. Ann enjoyed quilting, reading, cooking, and canning as well as coloring. In her younger years, Ann enjoyed traveling.

Surviving are her two sisters, Nancy (Jerry) Posso of Phoenix, Arizona and Jane Hibbard of Stryker, Ohio; niece, Jena (Trent) McClain of Adrian, Michigan; nephew, Durwood "DG" (Amy) Hibbard of Defiance. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Kay Grover; two brothers-in-law, John Grover, and Galen Hibbard; one nephew, Steve Posso.

Visitation for Margery "Ann" Cook will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2025, form 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville, followed by funeral services at 12:00 noon in the funeral home with Pastor Steve Stark officiating. Hicksville Chapter of the Order of Eastern Stars will conduct services at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, prior to the service. Interment will follow in Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville.

Memorial contributions can be directed to Grace United Methodist Church or to Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice, Defiance, Ohio.
