Marjorie N. Myers, 80 years of Hicksville, passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana, with her family at her side. Marjorie was born April 23, 1945, in Defiance, Ohio, the daughter of the late Clarence and Belva (Hageman) Smith. She was a 1963 graduate of Hicksville High School. She married Paul L. Myers on February 14, 1965, in Sherwood, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on February 5, 2012. She assisted her husband in operating Hi-Lanes Bowling Alley in Hicksville. Prior to this, Marjorie worked as a secretary. Marjorie was a faithful member of St. John Lutheran Church, Hicksville. Marjorie was very artistic in nature and created countless pieces of painted artwork for family and friends. She also enjoyed reading and tending to her garden. Her favorite thing was spending time with her grandkids and her beloved pets.
Surviving are her two children, Shelly (Randy) Post of Hicksville; Michael (Lisa) Myers of McKensey, Tennessee three grandchildren, Nicholas Post of Fort Wayne, Alexander "AJ" Post, of Hicksville, and Samantha Post of Antwerp: three brothers, Greg (Linda) Smith of Fort Wayne, Brad Smith of Sherwood and Rex Smith of Sherwood; special sister-in-law, Diane Smith of Hamilton, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul; grandson, Samuel; one brother, Derek Smith and one sister, Leazon Repar.
Visitation for Marjorie N, Myers will be held Monday, June 2, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon in St. John Lutheran Church, 812 East High Street, Hicksville. Funeral services for Marjorie N. Myers will immediately follow at 12:00 noon, Monday, June 2, 2025, in the church with Alex Heffelfinger, Minister officiating. Interment will follow in Scipio Cemetery, Harlan, Indiana.
