Marylen L. Hall, 88, of Hicksville, Ohio, passed Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Vancrest of Payne.  Marylen was born March 6, 1937, in Defiance, Ohio, daughter of the late Walter I. "Waldo" and Donelda H. (Friend) Rau.  She was raised in the Lutheran church where she was baptized as a child.  Marylen married Ralph L. Hall in 1957, and together they raised eight children.  Marylen worked at Dietrich Industries from 1978 until her medical retirement in 1992.  Throughout her life, she loved camping with her family, and enjoyed going to auctions and garage sales.

Surviving are her six children, Jackie Watson of Hicksville, George (Tina) Hall of Antwerp, James Hall of Hicksville, Helen (Marvin Schwab) Parker of Hicksville, Robert (Pam) Hall of New Haven, Indiana, and Roger "Tom" (Becky Papai) Hall of Hicksville; 19 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and four siblings.  Marylen was preceded in death by her parents; ex-husband, Ralph L. Hall; one daughter, Terry Shumate; one son, Ralph L. Hall Jr.; two grandsons, Johnathan Jay Ridgway and Tyler Joseph Hall; and six siblings.

Visitation for Marylen L. Hall, will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 Noon at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville.  Funeral Services for Marylen will immediately follow in the funeral home beginning at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Kevin Doseck officiating.  Interment will follow in Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville.
