Maverick Robert Saum entered the arms of Jesus on July 9, 2024, at Dupont Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana. The son of Michael D. and La Tisha R. Saum of Hicksville; brother, Julius Akerman; maternal grandmother, Mary Thornburg of Hicksville; paternal grandparents, Robert and Jeanine Saum, Jr. of Hicksville.

He is joined in Heaven by his maternal grandfather, James Webb and paternal great-grandfather, Robert Saum, Sr.

Maverick will be missed by many family members and friends. He will be in our hearts forever.
