Mildred "Millie" Miller, 89, of Hicksville, died Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Vancrest of Antwerp Assisted Living, Antwerp, Ohio.

She was born on March 2, 1924 in Avoca, PA, the daughter of the late Thomas and Gertrude (Dawe) Ridgley.

She was a graduate of Avoca High School.

On May 20, 1944, she was united in marriage to Robert N. Miller. He preceded her in death in April, 1984.

Millie was a member of Gateway Chapel, Hicksville; VFW, Eagles Auxiliary and a past member of the Peacemakers quilting club. Millie was an avid Hicksville Aces Fan.

She is survived by her children- Jeanne Grenz of Edgerton, Ohio, Robert Jr. (Sherree) of Hicksville, Christina Miller of Bryan, Ohio, Jill (Mark) Harris of Auburn, Indiana; (10) grandchildren; (19) great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two sisters-in-law- Liz Ridgley of Avoca, PA and Betty Herrington of Stryker, Ohio.

Millie was also preceded in death bya great grand daughter, a sister-Jeanne Beardsworth and two brothers- William and James Ridgley.

Funeral Services for Millie will be Wednesday at 10:00 at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville with Rick Straley officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00.

Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville.

Preferred memorials may be made to Vancrest Assisted Living or Gateway Chapel.
