Pamela S. Kline, 74, of Ney, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Pam was born July 10, 1950, in Paulding, Ohio, daughter of the late Vernon H. and Irene R. (Polter) Etchen. She was a 1967 graduate of Fairview High School. Pam married Willard K. "Pete" Kline on May 3, 1969, at Mark Center United Methodist Church, and he survives. She worked for Chief Supermarkets for over 42 years, holding various roles, and retiring as the receiving clerk in 2015. She previously worked at Elders Grocery Store in Mark Center. With Pete, Pam enjoyed their annual Canadian fishing and Vegas gambling trips. She also enjoyed tending to her flower beds, baking and hollering at Pete whether he got out of line or not.
Surviving is her husband, Willard K. "Pete" Kline of Ney, Ohio; two children, Dawn (Gregory) Ridinger of Fremont, Ohio, and Shawn Kline of Defiance, Ohio; three granddaughters, Aubrie (Jason Philpot) Ridinger, Evelyne Sheaffer and Lidia (Tony Meyer) Ridinger; three great-grandchildren, Jayla, Jemma and Lily; a sister, Connie (Robert) Roesch of Bryan, Ohio; and a step-brother, Ty Oberlin of Michigan. Pam was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Keith Oberlin; two brothers, James Etchen and Dennis Etchen; and a sister, Ruth Wirth.
Visitation for Pamela S. Kline will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 Noon at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan, Ohio 43506. Funeral services will immediately follow in the funeral home beginning at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Kevin Doseck officiating. Private interment will take place in Lost Creek Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be directed to the Fort Defiance Humane Society.
