Patricia A. Maneval, 87, of West Unity, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Hillside Country Living, Bryan. Pat was born on January 31, 1939, in West Unity, Ohio, the daughter of the late Earl and Audrey (Mercer) Miller. She graduated from Hilltop High School in 1957 as a member of the school’s first graduating class. Pat married Ted W. Maneval on October 18, 1959, in West Unity, Ohio, and he survives. She began her career working for several area doctors, where she discovered her true calling into nursing. In 1988, after earning her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree from Northwest State Community College, she accepted a position with Bryan Medical Group, where she faithfully served for twelve years. As the wife of a farmer, Pat also helped Ted with the Maneval family farm, which is now continued by the next generations. Pat was a dedicated member of West Unity United Methodist Church, where she faithfully served in many roles throughout the years. Pat loved her family and supported them in all their activities.
Surviving is her husband, Ted Maneval of West Unity; two sons, Todd (Deb) Maneval of Pioneer, Ohio, and Scott (Melissa) Maneval of West Unity, Ohio; 5 grandchildren, Matthew Maneval, Sarah (Joe) Nichols, Alexandra (Cody) Lucas, Emily (Hunter) McKelvey, Timothy (Alexis) Maneval; five great-grandchildren, Nolan, Mason, Sadie, Leni, and Carson; sister, Sue (Lee) Shirkey. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Miller; sister, Barbara Chase.
Private graveside service will be held at Floral Grove Cemetery, West Unity, Ohio. A memorial service celebrating Pat’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2026, at West Unity United Methodist Church, 311 N. Liberty Street, West Unity with Pastor Jeff Ridenour officiating. Services are in care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, West Unity.
