Paula L. Humbert, 81, of Defiance, Ohio passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Paula was born on November 16, 1943, daughter of the late Richard L. and Margaret S. Humbert. She worked as a sorter at Quadco Industries. Paula loved puzzles, playing cards, Sunday drives and laughing with friends. In her younger years she loved riding her bike to Northtowne Mall to walk around and visit with others. Paula never knew a stranger and made friends wherever she went. She loved to make people smile and always enjoyed a good heartfelt laugh. Paula was a great example of the attitude we all should strive to have. She was an angel among us. Rest well, beloved daughter, sister, friend and Child of God! Great is your reward!

Surviving is her brother, Jary Humbert of Defiance, Ohio. Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Margaret Humbert.

The family would like to thank Vancrest of Hicksville, Parkview Regional Medical Center, and all who cared for Paula.

To honor Paula's wishes she will be cremated and there will be a private memorial service held at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 N. Lynn Street, Bryan, Ohio.
