Peggy S. Burlingame, 79, of Hicksville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2022, in her residence with her husband and granddaughters by her side.  Peggy was born September 20, 1942, in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, daughter of Newton O. and Mable E. (Wallace) Blade.  She was a 1960 graduate of Hicksville High School.  Peggy married Troy M. Burlingame on November 30, 1984, in St. James Lutheran Church, New Haven, Indiana.  Soon after their wedding, Peggy and Troy moved to Phoenix Arizona, where they lived for 31 years.  While in Arizona, Peggy worked for Printers Personnel Temp Hiring Agency as their office manager and was also a homemaker.  Upon returning to Hicksville in 2017, Peggy continued as a homemaker, supporting her husband and grandchildren in everything they did.  Peggy was a devoted member of Cornerstone Church, Hicksville.  Peggy will be remembered most for how she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her loving husband, Troy M. Burlingame of Hicksville, Ohio; five grandchildren, Nicholas (Teya Spring) Cox of Mesa Arizona, Travis (Valeria) Cox of Chandler, Arizona, Valerie Cox of Hicksville, Ohio, Beth Cox of Hicksville, Ohio, and Brienna Cox of Springfield, Ohio; five great-grandchildren; one brother, David (Debbie) Blade of Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews.

In honoring the family's wishes, no visitation or services will be held at this time.  The family will hold a private Celebration of Life at a later date.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home & Crematory, 706 Main Street, Hicksville, Ohio 43526.
