Regina M. Cavin, 48, of Alvordton, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Regina was born July 29, 1976, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of David and Brenda (Price) Borton. She was a 1994 graduate of Four County Career Center, through West Unity High School. Regina worked as a CNA/STNA for Ayden of Wauseon and also at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier for seven years. Regina enjoyed being outdoors, but above all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her parents, David and Brenda Borton of Alvordton; two daughters, Dara (Josh Roesener) Davis of Pioneer, Ohio, and Matison (Jasper Bienvenue) Lucas of Hudson, Michigan; two grandchildren, Xavier Bienvenue, and Brixleigh Bienvenue; one brother, Shawn Borton of Fayette, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gerald and Virginia Pinette, Otis and Ella Mae Borton and her former husband, Kenneth Mark Cavin.

To honor Regina's wishes, she will be cremated. The family will hold a gathering celebrating her life on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Alvortucky Bar, 106 E. Main Street, Alvordton, Ohio. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 202 North Liberty Street, West Unity.
