Robert D. Weaver, 83, of Hicksville died on Sunday April 5, 2009 at Parkview Hospital-Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

He was born on February 26, 1926 in Wawaka, Indiana the son on Rollo & Lottie (Duesler) Weaver.

He was a 1944 graduate of Wawaka (East Noble) High School.

He married Hazel M. (Fett) Jones on May 6, 1978.

He retired from General Electric of Ft. Wayne after (43) years.

He was a member of Good Shepherd Deaf Lutheran Church- Stryker, Ohio and was a member of the GE Quarter Century Club.

He is survived by his wife Hazel; (5) sons: Greg (Andrea) and Larry both of Ft. Wayne, IN; Michael (Deb)- Fennville, MI; David-NY and Kevin-NM; (4) stepchildren: Michael (Deb) Jones-Hicksville; Lorraine (Joe) Morhart-Ft. Wayne, IN; Brenda (Tom) Badenhop-Defiance, OH and Linda Jones-Hicksville; (9) grandchildren; (3) great-grandchildren; (12) step-grandchildren; (20) step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by (4) sisters and (3) brothers.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 at Smith & Brown Funeral Home-Hicksville, Ohio with Pastor Shirrel officiating. Visitation is Wednesday from 4:00-9:00 and after 12:00 on Thursday.

Burial is at Maumee Cemetery-Antwerp, Ohio.
