Ronald L. Wheeler, 83, of Hicksville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023, in his residence.  Ron was born June 20, 1939, son of the late Dale and Cleah (Dowden) Wheeler.  He married Brenda K. Zeedyk on May 23, 1962, and she preceded him in death on December 19, 2013.

Ron is survived by four children, Stephania (Thomas) Gould of Washington, D.C., Bill Wheeler of Butte, Montana, James (Kathleen) Wheeler of Camden, North Carolina, and Cleah (Terry) Minic of Paulding, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, Thomas (Kori) Gould, Joseph (Kaitlyn) Gould, Marcus (Tessa) Stephan, Ben (Victoria) Stephan, Veronica (Eric) Anderson, Kayla Wheeler, Sabrina (Aaron) Morris, Lucas Morris, Crystal Pace, Jason Pace and Amaya; many great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Lorie Konopka.  Ron was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Brenda; and one daughter, Rhonda Shultz.

Private family services were held, with burial in Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville.  Arrangements were entrusted to Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville.
