Sandra L. Zimmerman, 85, of Hicksville, Ohio, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025, at Vancrest of Hicksville. Sandra was born March 4, 1939, in Hicksville, daughter of the late Weldon and Maxine (Preston) Dull. She was a 1957 graduate of Hicksville High School. Sandra married C.W. "Bill" Zimmerman Jr. on July 21, 2001, at the Hicksville First Church of Christ, and he preceded her in death on April 22, 2024. She worked as an administrative assistant at Bruce Guilford Reality for over 20 years, retiring in 2021. Over the years, Sandra also spent time babysitting, working as a clerk at the Hicksville Pharmacy, and as a secretary at Lincoln Life in Fort Wayne. She was a life member of the Hicksville First Church of Christ, where she served as the Sunday School secretary for over 40 years, taught Little and Junior Church, and sang in the choir. First and foremost, Sandra was dedicated to her church.

Surviving are her two children, Ken (Tammy) Boyce of Crossville, Tennessee, and Jeri (Todd) Lindemann of Grabill, Indiana;  three stepsons, Gary Zimmerman of Hicksville, Greg (Pauline) Zimmerman of Hicksville, Jeff  Zimmerman of Hicksville;  grandson Brett (Brittany) Myers of Hicksville; three step grandchildren, Angela (Jay) Powell of Hicksville, Jason (Crystal) Zimmerman of New Haven, Indiana, and Cassandra Blue of Ney; three great-grandchildren, Alivia, Luke and Lane; six step great-grandchildren, Carter, Emmett, Grayson, Lexis, Owen and Eloise;  brother, David Dull of Auburn, Indiana; a sister-in-law, Cathy Dull of Hicksville; as well as several nieces and nephews.  Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; husband, C.W. "Bill" Zimmerman Jr.; two sisters, Nancy McBride, and Peggy Quaintance; and a brother, Robert L. Dull Sr.

Visitation for Sandra L. Zimmerman will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 Noon at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville, Ohio 43526. Funeral services for Sandra will immediately follow in the funeral home beginning at 12:00 Noon with John Battershell officiating. Due to the inclement weather, private interment will follow in Six Corners Cemetery, Hicksville.
