Sheldon L. Levy, Jr., 63, of Hicksville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Vancrest of Hicksville. Sheldon was born May 10, 1961, in Hicksville, Ohio, son of the late, Sheldon L. and Lenora M. (Ripke) Levy, Sr. He was a 1979 graduate of Hicksville High School. Sheldon worked at Dietrich Industries for 20 years. He was a member of Life Changing Church, Edgerton and volunteered at Hicksville Volunteer Fire and Rescue. Sheldon enjoyed umpiring Hicksville youth softball and baseball. In need of a kidney transplant, Sheldon received a kidney in 2007. Sheldon was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, completing word searches, and coloring.

Surviving are his four siblings, Scott (Cindy) Levy of Hicksville, Ohio, Dan (LeAnn) Levy of Defiance, Ohio, Phil Levy of West Liberty, Ohio, and Dawn (Chris) Elston of Hicksville, Ohio; many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Kate Levy of Hicksville, Ohio; friend, Bill Elwood of Hicksville, Ohio. Sheldon was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David Levy; nephew, Storm Levy.

To honor Sheldon's wishes he will be cremated. Arrangements are in care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 N. Main Street, Hicksville.
