Stephanie J. Turk, 53, of Antwerp, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Paulding County Hospital.  Stephanie was born August 21, 1970, in Hicksville, Ohio, daughter of Lynn M. and Frances I. "Fran" (Koch) Platt.  She was a 1988 graduate of Hicksville High School.  Stephanie was a selfless person, always giving her time to others.  She was a dedicated caregiver for her grandchildren, who she loved to spend time with and constantly talk about.  Another of Stephanie's pride and joy was her dog, Piper.

Surviving are her three children, DJ (Jessica) Turk of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Daniel (Alexis) Turk of Dupont, Washington, and Alison (Johnny Rose) Turk of Antwerp, Ohio; eight grandchildren; her father, Lynn M. Platt of Hicksville, Ohio; and a sister, Tracey Platt of Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother, Fran Platt.

To honor Stephanie's wishes, no visitation or services will be held at this time. The family will hold a private gathering at a later date.  Arrangements are in care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 N. Main Street, Hicksville, Ohio 43526.
