Teddy S. Ramey, 86, of Ney, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Brookview Care Center in Defiance, Ohio. Teddy was born on September 25, 1939, in Dante, Virginia, the son of the late Joseph and Mildred (Greer) Ramey. He graduated from Ayersville High School and continued his education at Liberty University. On April 15, 1950, Teddy married Marilyn J. Brinkman. They shared 64 years of marriage before her passing on October 4, 2014. Teddy faithfully served as pastor for 30 years, most recently at Cecil Community Church. In addition to his ministry, he worked at Campbell Soup, Coca-Cola, Zeller Corporation, and General Motors. He had a love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing whenever he had the opportunity.

Surviving is three sons, Terry (Jennifer) Ramey of Huber Heights, Ohio, Brian (Sherri) Ramey of Sherwood, Ohio, and Joseph (Jan) Ramey of Bradner, Ohio; 7 grandchildren, Mike, Ashley, Elisha, Paige, Austin, Alex and Topanga; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Sam (Thelma) Ramey of Sherwood, Ohio. Teddy was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marilyn Ramey; brother, Bob Ramey; five sisters, Gwinna Jo Ramey, Mary Smith, Vicki VonDeylan, Teresa Ramey, and Brenda Richards.

To honor Teddy's wishes, private burial will take place at Sherwood Cemetery, Sherwood, Ohio. Services are in care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Sherwood.
