Vicki Lynn Ruetz, age 77, of Alvordton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Promedica Toledo Hospital with her sisters by her side. Vicki was born on April 17, 1948, in West Unity, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ronald and Irene (Link) Ruetz. She was a 1966 graduate of Hilltop High School. Vicki worked as a toll collector for the Ohio Turnpike and previously was employed at Robinair. Vicki enjoyed the simple things in life. She found solitude spending time at home and enjoying her property.

Surviving are her two sisters, Sue Ruetz of Dekalb, Illinois, and Bonnie Ruetz of West Unity, Ohio; niece, Shelley Ross; two nephews, Dennis (Dianne) Grant, and Steven (Cokie) Ruetz; great-niece, Cody Ross. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ronnie Ruetz; nephew, David Ruetz.

Private family burial will be held at Floral Grove Cemetery, West Unity with Pastor Mark Stiver officiating. Services are in care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, West Unity.
