Vickie J. Gunderman, 76, of Hicksville, Ohio passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Vancrest of Hicksville surrounded by her family. Vickie was born July 8, 1947, in Hicksville, Ohio, daughter of the late Freeman "Fritz" E. and Adella V. (Keller) Miller. She attended Hicksville High School. Vickie married Samuel D. Gunderman on October 1, 1987, in Las Vegas, Nevada and he survives. Vickie worked at various factories in the area and worked a short period of time as a beautician. In her free time, Vickie enjoyed crafting and analyzing handwriting as a hobby and often amazed people with her knowledge.

Surviving is her husband, Samuel Gunderman of Hicksville, Ohio; two children, Marci Holland of Defiance, Ohio and Ross Payton of Palm Harbor, Florida; two stepchildren, Reed (Pat) Gunderman of Winder Georgia and Gina (Duke) Romo of Hicksville, Ohio; three siblings, Jackie Siples of Oldsmar, Florida, Cathy (Mark) Wright of DeLand, Illinois, and Rick (Deloris) Miller of Antwerp, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Vickie will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville, with funeral services beginning at 12:00 noon at the funeral home with Celebrant, Patricia Peter officiating. Interment will follow at Six Corners Cemetery, Hicksville.
