Villa C. Elliott, 73, of Butler, Indiana, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2026, at The Pines of DeKalb. Villa was born on June 26, 1953, in Dante, Virgina, the daughter of the late Kenneth C. and Laura M. (Gordon) Brooks. She proudly served in the United States Navy as a Radio Frequency Distribution Maintenance Technician from January 19, 1984, until her honorable discharge on January 18, 1989. Villa married Bobby E. Gordon, and he preceded her in death on February 24, 1987. She then married John J. Elliott Jr. on October 30, 1987, and he preceded her in death on July 30, 2020. Villa worked as a nurse at the former Laurels of DeKalb.

Surviving are her son, Brian J. Elliott; and two stepdaughters, Jenny Elliott and Suzy Elliot

In accordance with Villa’s wishes, no visitation or services will be held. Burial will take place at Fountain Grove Cemetery in Bryan, Ohio. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Bryan.
