Wanda S. Eccard, 62, of Oakwood, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 28, 2025.  Wanda was born September 16, 1962, in Hicksville, Ohio, the daughter of Homer A. and Helen (Madden) Zartman.  She was a hard worker, retiring from Tri-State Dairy in Hicksville in 2020.  Wanda lived a simple life and loved her grandkids more than anything.

Surviving are her three sons, Chad (Deanna) Eccard of Canton, Ohio, Travis Eccard of Paulding, Ohio, and Zac Stoll of Austin, Texas; 10 grandchildren, Sam Faass, Marisa Faass, Max Faass, Fiona Faass, Ben Faass, Savanna Eccard, Nathan Eccard, Tucker Eccard, Zaylee Eccard and Bentley Eccard; her mother, Helen Young of Hicksville; three brothers, Randy (April) Madden, Homer Zartman and Eugene Zartman; and two sisters, Janet Hall and Mary McCalla.  Wanda was preceded in death by her father, Homer; and four siblings, Cindy Madden, Thelma Kahn, Peggy Friend and Gilbert Zartman.

There will be no public visitation or services held at this time.  Wanda's family is planning a private Celebration of Life to be held in September around her birthday.   Arrangements are in care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville, Ohio 43526.
