William Arthur "Bill" Dick, 82 years, of Hamilton, passed away in his home with his family at his side on Monday, January 22, 2024. Bill was born January 18, 1942, in Lakewood, Ohio, the son of the late Christian and Marge (O'Connell) Dick. He was a graduate of Northside High School, Fort Wayne, Indiana. He married Cherie Curl on September 19, 1981, in Angola, Indiana, and she survives. Bill was an Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam Era. Bill was a signalman for Norfolk-Southern Railroad for 42 years, retiring in 2002. Bill was a member of the Hamilton American Legion Post 467. Bill loved to hunt and be out on the water. He also enjoyed water skiing in his younger years.

Surviving is his wife, Cherie of Hamilton; two children, Kathleen (Greg) Pratt of Orland, Indiana, and Scott Dick of Hamilton; five grandchildren, Trinity Pratt, Connor Pratt, Austin Pratt, Mollie Dick, and Ella Dick; one brother, Robert (Carolyn) Dick of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Thomas Dick.

Visitation for William Arthur "Bill" Dick will be held Monday, January 29, 2024, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 3985 East Church Street, Hamilton. There will be no funeral service and interment will be private.
