We at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, want to communicate with those who frequent our website and are on email alert list in regard to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
As the situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to change, we are putting precautions in place to ensure the health and safety of your family and our communities. We can assure you that your family will receive the same service you would expect from a family owned and operated funeral home. Our funeral directors are available 24 hours a day to help you and your family during this time.
We’ve been monitoring the situation, while listening to the Ohio and National Funeral Directors Associations (OFDA, NFDA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations. We have been in communication with local clergy, churches, and cemeteries. We will continue to follow the guidelines set forth by Governor Mike DeWine. Currently, all arrangements will be made over the phone, email, or videoconferencing. We are working on implementing a collaboration center to better communicate with your family, allowing family members to participate no matter their geographic location. All services will be held privately with no more than 10 individuals present to assist in reducing exposure and following the guidelines mandated by the Ohio Department of Health. Additionally, we will work with you to record and videoconference services for those who are unable to attend.
With your help and understanding we will get through this together.
