Obituary

Naomi Mae Lehman, 88 years, formerly of West Unity, and a current resident of Hillside Country Living, Bryan, passed away Friday, March 9, 2012 at Hillside Country Living.Naomi was born May 13, 1923 in West Unity, the daughter of Harry Clifton and Clara Frances (Eberly) Bistline.She was a 1941 graduate of Kunkle High School.She married Carl E. Lehman on May 14, 1942 in Kunkle, Ohio and he preceded her in death on August 14, 1984.Naomi was a devoted homemaker and proud of the fact that she was a farm wife, assisting Carl on the farm her entire married life.She was a life member of the Kunkle Presbyterian Church until its closing.She then became a member of the West Unity Presbyterian Church.Naomi was a charter member of the CBS Study Club which was formed over 60 years ago.She enjoyed playing dominoes with her friends, and spending time with her family.

Surviving is her daughter, Caren (Steve) Bush of Defiance; two sons, James (Cynthia) Lehman of Springboro, Ohio and Dennis Lehman of Adrian, Michigan;six grandchildren, William Hann, Jennifer Prospero, Brian Lehman, Adam Lehman, Melanie Lehman and Stephanie Johnson; two step grandchildren, Jerry Bush and Rhonda Coggins; 11 great-grandchildren, Jamie Scantlen, Olivia Hann, Amelia Hann, Madeline Prospero, Nicholas Prospero,Katelyn Toner, Bradyn Lehman, Ashlyn Lehman, Caleb Johnson, Maxwell Johnson and Lauren Bush; one sister, Donna Jean Lorntz of Bryan.She was preceded in death by her husband Carl, daughter-in-law Terri - Lynne Lehman, one brother Morris Bistline, and one sister Edna Breese.

Visitation for Naomi Mae Lehman will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2012 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the West Unity Presbyterian Church, 201 East North Street, West Unity, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday,March 14, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Dorothy Ritchey-Moore officiating.Interment will follow in Floral Grove Cemetery, West Unity.Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan, Ohio.
