Raymond R. Jones, 83, of Hicksville, Ohio passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Raymond was born August 17, 1940, in Antwerp, Ohio, son of the late Charley and Grace (Rathgeb) Jones. He served in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge. Raymond married Rebecca "Becky" Swartz and she preceded him in death on June 5, 2013. He previously worked at General Tire and as a truck driver. In his free time, Raymond enjoyed spending time outdoors, tinkering on trucks, and recycling metal.

Surviving is his son, Raymond P. (Debra) Jones of Garrett, Indiana; six grandchildren, John Jones, Cassey Jones, Erin (Nolan), Logan Jones, Ryne Jones, and Jordan Jones; great-granddaughter, Aalyiah Wolf. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Becky; two brothers; one sister.

To honor Raymond's wishes the family will hold a memorial service celebrating Raymond's life at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville.
